Before you start · adult guidance
Use large counters, blocks and paper before symbols. Revisit a lesson until the child can show and explain the idea. Numbers grow from 0–10 to 20, then 100; these pages are not a one-sitting course.
These are short sessions to revisit, not a one-day course. Follow the child's readiness and school teaching.
Teacher coverage map · what is introduced and what is still needed
These pages introduce the Year 1 strands. A larger varied practice bank, repeated calculation and measurement sessions, numeral writing to 100 and teacher observation are still needed. This is not proof of secure fluency or a completed annual scheme.
These are our reference keys, not official DfE numbering. Each link identifies a teaching introduction, not a completed curriculum requirement or assessed mastery.
