Read before answering
Let A = 4 x 10^7 and B = 2 x 10^4. Multiply coefficients and add exponents for A x B; divide coefficients and subtract exponents for A/B. For A+B first express the terms at a common power. Normalise every final positive coefficient into 1 <= coefficient < 10.
