Fictional paired daily observations (temperature in C, drinks sold): (14,30), (16,36), (18,37), (20,45), (22,46), (24,52). Keep each pair together. On separate squared paper label both axes, choose regular scales and plot individual points, NOT a joined journey line. A proposed rough trend is y=2x + 3. It is not a causal law or an exact rule for each day. The observed temperatures run from 14 to 24 C.
