Fictional paired daily observations (temperature in C, drinks sold): (12,19), (14,25), (16,26), (18,34), (20,35), (22,41). Keep each pair together. On separate squared paper label both axes, choose regular scales and plot individual points, NOT a joined journey line. A proposed rough trend is y=2x - 4. It is not a causal law or an exact rule for each day. The observed temperatures run from 12 to 22 C.
