Paper charge model: A and B begin neutral. Transfer 9 electron tokens from B to A. Each token stands for one equal unit of negative charge; no protons move between the objects. Both objects together form the closed model. Afterwards bring a separate positive test charge near each without touching. This is not a high-voltage experiment.
