Two separate models use positive x. Direct model: y = 8x. Inverse model: z = 96/x. In the first, y/x stays constant; in the second, xz stays constant. Evaluate x = 6 and x = 12. The equations are stated mathematical models, not proof that any real workload scales perfectly.
