Two separate models use positive x. Direct model: y = 4x. Inverse model: z = 36/x. In the first, y/x stays constant; in the second, xz stays constant. Evaluate x = 3 and x = 6. The equations are stated mathematical models, not proof that any real workload scales perfectly.
