Sketch an L-shape: begin with a rectangle 10 cm wide and 7 cm high. Remove the TOP-RIGHT corner rectangle, 4 cm wide and 3 cm high. Sides are horizontal/vertical. All removed dimensions are smaller than the matching outer dimensions. Area excludes the cut-out; perimeter traces all six remaining boundary edges.
