Triangle ABC has AB = AC and vertex angle BAC = 70 degrees. Its two base angles are equal. Separately, a convex quadrilateral has three interior angles 60, 120 and 95 degrees. Triangles total 180 degrees; quadrilaterals total 360 degrees. Side equality alone does not guarantee right angles.
