Perpendicular height is not a sloping side - Paper 1

Read the information, then answer the questions. An adult may read the instructions aloud. Show your working where asked.

Read before answering

Draw separate triangle and parallelogram sketches with base 8 cm and PERPENDICULAR height 9 cm. A sloping side of 11 cm is extra information, not the height. Mark a right-angle sign where the height meets the base line. The sketches need not be to scale; use the stated dimensions.
