Complete original account: The reading group chose a play with many roles. Several readers wanted shorter speaking parts. The group discussed preferences and shared some narration rather than forcing identical amounts of speech. A useful summary keeps the initial plan, the reason for change and the response. It need not repeat every minor action or add a judgement about the people.
