Word study: co-operate means to work together towards a shared aim. Read aloud: 'The teams agreed to co-operate on the shared display.' Spelling note: Co-operate shows co plus operate. Cooperate is also an accepted spelling; use the chosen dictionary or house style consistently. Read and discuss the model first. Then cover it while writing the word, uncover it and compare the letters. For question 3, create a new sentence rather than copying this one.
