Invented simulator uses arbitrary units, fixed orientation and rule SHOW STAR when reading > 9; otherwise SHOW DOT. Readings: 8,9,10,7,11. This reports a symbol on EVERY reading; it is not a step counter or a once-per-event rule. Other devices may use different units, orientation or noise levels. No health or safety measurement is claimed.
