Read before answering
Main sentence pieces: 'The model' and 'stood on the table.' Extra information to insert between them: 'made from folded paper'. Parenthesis sets apart removable extra information. Use a pair of brackets, or a suitable pair of commas or dashes. The main sentence must still work when the extra information is removed.
