Revision is more than correcting spellings - Online practice 4

Read the information, then answer the questions. An adult may read the instructions aloud. Show your working where asked.

Read before answering

Draft to improve: 'The character returned to the gate. This proves she was angry.' Purpose: justify an inference from a passage. Extra facts allowed in this fictional exercise: the full extract says she returned to collect a forgotten bag and gives no feeling. Evaluate meaning and organisation before proofreading spelling. Do not add unsupported facts to make a claim seem stronger.
