Draft to improve: 'To find the area, I measured the rectangle. The answer was 24 square centimetres.' Purpose: explain how the area was calculated. Extra facts allowed in this fictional exercise: sides are 6 cm and 4 cm; 6 x 4 = 24 square cm. Evaluate meaning and organisation before proofreading spelling. Do not add unsupported facts to make a claim seem stronger.
