Vector project: a diagram made from arrows and labelled boxes. Problem: a filled box covers an arrow that should be visible. Vector objects can remain separately editable. Stacking order controls what covers what; grouping keeps relative positions when moving objects and is not necessarily permanent merging. Use original shapes in an approved tool, save and reopen the editable file.
