Read before answering
Word A - separate: apart rather than joined. Separate has a after the first r; remember par in the middle. Model: 'Keep the two sets of counters separate.' Word B - special: different from ordinary in a valued or particular way. Special ends cial; compare all four ending letters rather than guessing from the final sound. Model: 'The handmade bookmark was a special gift.' Practise from memory; check. Repeat another day.
