Listen to sure and ture endings - Paper 2

Read the information, then answer the questions. An adult may read the instructions aloud. Show your working where asked.

Read before answering

Word study: creature means an animal or other living being. Read aloud: 'The story's tiny creature hid beneath a leaf.' Spelling note: Creature has ture at the end; learn the whole word rather than changing all similar sounds to ture. Read and discuss the model first. Then cover it while writing the word, uncover it and compare the letters. For question 3, create a new sentence rather than copying this one.
