Read before answering

Word study: gently means in a careful, soft or mild way. Read aloud: 'The child placed the model gently on the table.' Spelling note: Change the le ending of gentle to ly: gently, not gentlely. Read and discuss the model first. Then cover it while writing the word, uncover it and compare the letters. For question 3, create a new sentence rather than copying this one.
