Read before answering
Flowering-plant card: plant type, cucumber; fruit, cucumber; seeds, seeds inside the cucumber. Following pollination and fertilisation, seeds can develop. A viable seed may germinate in suitable conditions, then grow into a mature plant. Fruit in science does not mean only sweet food. No cutting or tasting is required.
