Fictional shadow measurements: the torch and screen stay fixed. The same opaque card stays face-on between them. At 10 cm from the torch its shadow is 24 cm wide; at 20 cm its shadow is 12 cm wide. Only the card's position changes. Use these records; do not invent observations or point light into eyes.
