Two named word cards: pumpkin seed; hyacinth bulb. A seed contains a young plant and stored food. A bulb is a different plant structure with a short stem and fleshy food-storing parts. Both may develop into growing plants in suitable conditions. Use these word cards or adult-checked pictures, not tasting or handling bulbs. Some bulbs are poisonous, even when they resemble onions.
