Simplified cell model: start with 6 cells, each with 12 chromosomes in its nucleus. All cells complete 3 rounds of normal mitosis and cytokinesis; none die. Afterwards, some daughter cells develop specialised structures. The supplied stem-cell sample is known to form two cell types only. This is a model, not a treatment claim.

- Distinguish the subsequent specialisation from the preceding increase in cell number.
- Does evidence of two possible cell types establish that this sample can form every type or cure a condition?
