A quantity expressed as a whole number or decimal, it consist a numerator and denominator.

The numerator shows the top number, and a denominator shows the bottom number.

A quarter: 1/4 – One specific part in four whole parts.

A half: 1/2 – One specific part in two whole parts.

A three quarter: 3/4 – Three specific part in four whole parts.

A whole: this is a whole part for example, one big pizza.
