lesson
Stop and get trusted help
1 · Learn
If contact or content worries you, stop and tell a trusted adult. You do not have to reply, provide private details or keep a troubling secret. Adults can help use appropriate reporting or blocking tools.
Be respectful when creating and sharing too. Criticise an idea kindly, not a person's identity or appearance. Do not forward upsetting material to classmates.
2 · Worked example
A pretend message demands a voice recording and secrecy. I do not send it. I seek help rather than trying to prove the sender's identity myself.
3 · Your turn
Should you keep a worrying online message secret because the sender told you to?
Check your answer
No. You can seek help from a trusted adult and should not comply with pressure to share private information.
4 · Apply your learning
Practise asking for help with invented scenarios. Review your project's audience, permissions and private details before any adult-approved sharing.
Adult guidance and safety
Use an adult-approved offline or school-managed application and invented non-personal data. Do not change real network settings, publish recordings or upload others' images. Follow paper models with practical work in a suitable tool and check saved files reopen.
Open your writing and drawing pad

Clear the drawing? Your typed notes will stay. You can undo this action.
Your pad is empty.
Open a UTF-8 TXT file from this device, up to 40 KB and 10,000 characters. It stays in this browser. Opening can be undone until you type again. Downloads keep a new copy; they do not change the file you opened.
Replace the notes on this page with the opened file? Download the current notes first if you want to keep them.
Typed notes are not submitted answers.
