Count in equal steps

1 · Learn

Counting in fours gives 0, 4, 8, 12, 16. Counting in eights gives 0, 8, 16, 24, 32. Every second multiple of four is a multiple of eight.

Counting in fifties gives 0, 50, 100, 150. Counting in hundreds gives 0, 100, 200, 300. A constant step makes a predictable pattern.
