Suffix and Prefix Year Three

Suffix : Suffixes are a letter or a group of letter added to the end of the root word.

Ex: move + ment — movement (Root word is move)

Prefix: Prefixes are a letter or a group of letter added to the beginning of the root word.

Ex: un + usual — unusual (Root word is usual)

There are the suffix words: ation, sion, ly, sure, ture, ous, cian, ssion

There are the prefix words: il, ir, im, un , dis, in, re, sub, inter, super, anti, auto
